Showing interest in the field of conducting since his formative years, Johannes has granted specific attention to performing works within the operatic sphere given his training, love and passion for opera. Johannes gained his conducting experience while working as assistant conductor to various international conductors. These include American conductor Maestro Kamal Khan, Austrian conductor Maestro Ralf Kircher, Argentinian conductor Maestro Corvin Matei, South African conductor Maestro Alex Fokkens and Finnish conductor Maestro Atso Almila.
